Texas Primary- Hillary vs. Barack

Texas Primary- Hillary vs. Barack

Polls show, such as the IVR (Source) that a few months ago Hillary Clinton had a huge lead in Texas. Today however many polls still show her leading, but it is now a much tighter race. The Internet indicators such as Google Searches, shows once again however that Barack Obama is leading Texas:

Hillary vs. Barack- Google Trends Report - Click Here.

Pew Research reports that 42% of young people (aged 18-29) use the Internet to make election choices. This would mean that to offset Hillary's lead among the Mexican-American vote, that Barack will need a high turnout from this age group. In many states, they have come out for him. And if he could once again get more woman voters, like he did in Virgina, then he could be right up there with Mrs Clinton.

Strictly speaking, Google Trends shows Mr Obama winning Texas. With him, this indicator has been very solid in many other states. I will stick by it. The primary is not till the 4th of March, thus things can change, however this "time" is only in Barack's favor at this stage in the nomination process.

Lastly, although this is worldwide (most visitors are state-side though), we see that Obama's campaign web page gets way more unique visitors than Clinton's:
